I wrote what has become tge COOL legistation.
The reason was because of four dead kids in Seattle, Washington that had eaten at Jack-in-the-Box.
One of the five sources of the hamburge was the XL packing plant in Brooks, Alberta.
This plant has been shut down sue to further comtamination problems.
My solution is simple. Let USDA graders from the USA go to Canada and other countries that want to export to the USA and inspect the meat before iit is shipped.
