As originally reported on Northern Ag Network, livestock associations are alarmed by a recent item in the FY 2017 Department of Interior Appropriations bills.  A letter sent by the livestock groups stated that "buried in the hundreds of pages of bill and report language is Section 122 which creates a new, Congressionally-authorized Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Foundation. This Foundation was championed by Obama Administration officials like former Secretary Sally Jewell and BLM Director Neil Kornze."

Northern Ag Network's Lane Nordlund spoke with the Public Lands Council's Ethan Lane about the situation.
