Local County Weed District Helping to Control Noxious Weeds thru Education
Each year noxious weeds and invasive species cause damage to millions of acres of land in Montana alone. 

And to help educate the next generation of land users and land owners the Yellowstone County Weed District in Billings conducts in class programs followed up by field tours around the region.

 

 

The Northern Ag Network's Russell Nemetz recently caught up with them at a field tour at Pompey's Pillar near Billings, MT.
