The 34th Annual MATE Show and Home & Health Expo is underway at MetraPark in Billings through Saturday, February 20th. Doors open each day at 10:00 am.
Over 225 exhibitors are showcasing their products in over 450 booths, making it the largest show of this kind in Montana.
One of this year's exhibiters is Multi Farming Systems from Central Queensland, Australia.
Kris Trevilyan of Multi Farming Systems is at the MATE Show showcasing the innovations that enabled a 500hp tractor to pull a 160 ft wide drill, as well as the world record seeding of 2,237 acres over a 24-hour period.
During the MATE Show on February 18, 2010, Kris Trevilyan was interviewed on television by the Northern Ag Network's Russell Nemetz.

The MATE Show is the flagship component of the event. It is the largest agriculture trade show in Montana and will feature the latest farming and ranching equipment, products, and services over the three days.
Neal Fehringer owns Fehringer Ag Consulting and is a 2010 MATE Show presenter.
He’s updating MATE Show attendees on the agronomic monitoring of soils and crops in response to discharge of untreated coalbed methane (CBM) water into the Tongue River.
During the MATE Show, Fehringer was interviewed on the radio by the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz.
Fehringer told Nemetz that he’s been researching this issue since 2003.

The Home & Health Expo was added to the event several years ago. It's offering a wide variety of exhibitors that specialize in screening blood, hearing, eyes, and other physical areas of the body as well as home products from beds to saunas and home décor to siding. New this year is CPR Saturday, which will be held on February 20th.

The MSU Extension Service will offer two presentations on Friday, Feb. 18th: Mountain Pine Beetle at 10am and Grasshopper Control at 11am. In addition, the MSU Extension Office will also be offering pesticide applicator credits under the following categories:

- Commercial & Government - 2 credits (Dealer, Demonstration & Research, and Agricultural Plant Pest Control)
