The Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) recently held its 43rd Annual Meeting for members on February 9th in the Yellowstone Room at MetraPark.

Retiring President Gary Adams presided over the opening and business section of the meeting.  Treasure Randy Vogele presented the annual treasures report offering insight into last year’s finances and year ending balance.  General Manager Justin Mills gave his report to the membership by recapping 2009 and providing some of the plans for 2010.  A written report by the General Manager was also made available.

The following directors of the board were elected to fulfill the slate of officers:  President Rob Erickson of Western Ranch Supply, Billings; President-Elect Jay Nansel of Select Sires, Billings; Vice-President John Carrel, Columbus; Treasure Randy Vogele of First Interstate Banks-Heights, Billings, and Past-President Gary Adams of Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Billings.

Three new board members were nominated and elected to the board during the meeting: Jason Euell of Wells Fargo, Billings; Kristi Pettis-Osterlund of LocalLivestock.com, Billings; and Clint Spencer of Spencer Angus, Fromberg.
