The Center for Rural Affairs, North Dakota Department of Agriculture and National Farm to School Network will host a timely educational workshop on connecting schools to local farmers and ranchers in providing fresh, nutritious local food in school lunch programs.

The workshop will held at the North Dakota Area Rural Electric Cooperative Ulmer Center at  3201 Nygren Drive Northwest in Mandan, ND.  The event is open to the public and participation costs $25; the fee covers lunch and material costs.  For additional information or to register, contact Kathie Starkweather at kathies@cfra.org or 402.617.7946.  Registrants are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure a spot.
