2026 Big Sky Cowgirl Gathering

Calling all cowgirls for an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

The Big Sky Cowgirl Gathering, a women-only, hands-on livestock event, will be held June 5-6 in Shepherd, Montana. Participants will rotate through interactive stations covering all aspects of livestock management, including blood draws and IVs, vaccination protocols and proper administration techniques. Demonstrations will also include ultrasound use and artificial insemination.

Industry professionals will lead sessions on nutrition and grazing management, hoof care, genetics and DNA testing, and livestock markets. A catered dinner will be provided Friday evening, and lunch will be served Saturday. The event offers a unique blend of practical education, networking and fun for women in agriculture.
