Northern Ag Network is looking for a Farm Broadcaster to join our team!
If you love farming and ranching and want to promote and serve agriculture, this is the job for you.
Who we are:
Northern Ag Network strives to be the primary source of information that farmers and ranchers trust for agricultural news and market information. We produce 15 different radio and television programs each weekday and broadcast to 60 radio stations and 10 TV stations. Our website, www.NorthernAg.Net provides an online source of information as the region’s most popular Ag website. We do our very best, in rain and in wildfires, to reach producers with information whenever they need it and wherever they access it.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the agricultural industry and rural people. If you care about making sure farmers get top dollar for their wheat and educating ranchers on the best value-added programs to enhance their herd, this might be the job for you. A farm broadcaster has an exciting and dynamic role at Northern Broadcasting and we are looking for someone to produce agricultural programs broadcast to our 4 state region. Strong speaking, writing and digital media skills will be necessary. We’re looking for people with professional or personal experience working in agriculture and serving farmers and ranchers. We need someone with an outstanding work ethic and a deep desire to help others.
What does a farm broadcaster do:
The position will center around producing daily agricultural programs. The broadcaster will be required to research stories, gather news and conduct interviews. You won’t just be in the studio though. You will attend events across the west and nation to report on the Ag news that matters.
How do I apply:
For consideration, please call or email Colter Brown, Ag Director at 406-252-6661 or colter@northernbroadcasting.com.
