Do you have a toadflax problem? Have you tried multiple management techniques? Does a yellow-flowered hillside make you shudder?
Dalmatian and yellow toadflax (Linaria dalmatica L. and L. vulgaris Mill.) are species on Wyoming’s noxious weed list which can displace desirable forage, reduce species diversity, and spread quickly. These are just a few of the reasons University of Wyoming Extension, the USDA-ARS High Plains Grasslands Research Station (HPGRS), Laramie County Conservation District, and Laramie County Weed and Pest are pleased to host the 2015 Toadflax Field Day at HPGRS in Cheyenne.
This event is aimed at encouraging discussion about toadflax management among landowners and managers, scientists, agency personnel, and other interested individuals. Attendees will see research sites at HPGRS and hear about work done throughout the region.

•Targeted grazing for Dalmatian toadflax and Geyer (plains) larkspur management
•Seeding perennial grasses into a dense Dalmatian toadflax stand (20 years later)
•Dalmatian toadflax herbicide options

•Toadflax biocontrol
The tour will begin at 9:00 am on June 16 at HPGRS headquarters. Lunch is included in the $20 registration cost.
