Spring seeding is already underway in North Dakota thanks to unseasonably warm temperatures and a lack of snow.
Byron Richard, who farms in western North Dakota, started seeding last week.
Olson says the general mentality is the earlier you plant, the better the yield potential. However that’s not always the way it turns out.
