The Wyoming Board of Agriculture will meet on April 13-14 in Cheyenne at the Wyoming State Capitol Extension in room W53/W54.
The meeting will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 13th and during the first day of the meeting, the Board will elect a new President and Vice-President, set meeting dates, review liaison assignments, discuss Conservation District appointments, hear Water Quality requests and reports, discuss declared Weed & Pest resolution additions, discuss weed & pest rules, and hear a Seed Lab update prior to adjournment. The meeting on Tuesday, April 14th will start at 9:00 am and during the second day of the meeting, the Board will appoint a State Chemist, hear updates from the WDA and industry partners, and cover any other business needed. The meeting is open to the public and there will be a chance for public comment each day of the meeting.
The Board of Agriculture enforces the rules and regulations of the Wyoming Department of Agriculture. Seven board members are appointed by the governor for six-year terms to represent geographical areas of the state. Board members include: Andrew Patricl, District 1; Jim Rogers, District 2; Kim Bright, District 3; Amanda Furnival, District 4; Mike Riley, District 5; Jody Bagley, District 6; and Larry Krause, District 7. Youth Board Members include: Meredith Halweg, Southeast; Benjamin Anson, Northwest; Hadley Manning, Southwest; and Lexi Bauder, Northeast.
The Wyoming State Capitol Extension is located in Cheyenne, WY at 200 W 24th Street.
