In a Yahoo! Education article written by Terence Loose, agriculture is named as the most useless college degree. According to the author, “When schools such as the University of Idaho cut their agriculture programs, you know times are tough for this degree.”
So where should aspiring minds direct their collegiate attention? Business. Loose writes that “majors like business had 83 percent of the surveyed employers saying they planned to recruit them.”
Also making the top 5 list were fashion design, theater, animal science and horticulture while majors in accounting and computer and information science were encouraged. READ THE FULL ARTICLE HERE.
