Dog Wearing GoPro Video Camera Is Attacked By Wolves

Moose-hunting season in Sweden comes with the inevitable dangers that such forested regions hide.  During a recent hunt, a 4-year-old Swedish elkhound was attacked by two wolves in Värmland County, Sweden, on October 12 2015.  The dog's owner had attached a GoPro Video Camera to the dog which captured the whole attack.

Svensk Jakt, a Swedish hunting magazine, reported that they believed the dog, Klara, was most likely saved from death thanks to the steel-lined hunting vest she was wearing at the time of the attack.  The dog's owner was able to quickly get the Swedish elkhound to a nearby vet, who treated a large wound on her back, stitched 14 smaller injuries, and cleaned 15-20 smaller wounds.  Amazingly enough, Klara was back on her feet within days.

The attack is shown over nearly 10 minutes of video and gets progressively more vicious.  Viewer discretion advised.
