BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) – Federal officials are getting a firsthand look at the latest in farm production technology and techniques, and North Dakota farmers are getting a chance to ask questions about federal regulations and policies.
State Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring on Thursday and Friday is giving Environmental Protection Agency officials tours of farms, a feedlot and equipment companies. He’ll also conduct two public forums, in Mandan on Thursday and in Fargo on Friday.
The EPA’s Region 8 administrator and agriculture adviser are scheduled to take part.
