2020 North Dakota Angus Tour

The North Dakota Angus Tour will be taking place September 21st and 22nd with headquarters out of Minot, ND. The tour will feature Angus breeders in the Northwest corner of the state all the way to the Montana and Canadian borders.

The event will kick off Sunday, September 20th with registration and a social gathering of all participants, sponsors and ranches at the Sleep Inn & Suites, in Minot.  The two-day excursion will include stops at Ash Coulee Ranch, White Earth; Feiring Angus Ranch, Powers Lake; Glasoe Angus, Wildrose; and Overland Angus, Fortuna.  Day two stops include Sundsbak Farms, Des Lacs; Hall Stock Farm, Berthold; and Forte Livestock, Embryo Division, Berthold.

This year’s tour has some exciting additions as well.  Monday morning the event will begin with an educational presentation sponsored by Neogen, Genetic Solutions for Each Step in the Supply Chain.  The American Angus Association will be providing a live animal foot score demonstration at Glasoe Angus.  Dinner Monday night will be held at The Old School Center in Fortuna.  The ND Angus Auxiliary will again be holding a silent and live auction at dinner along with other NDAA Auxiliary items available for purchase.

Zoetis will be sponsoring the presentation The Value of Informed Decisions for Commercial Cattlemen Tuesday morning.  The tour will conclude after a live OPU demonstration at Forte Livestock, Embryo Division, powered by Vytelle.  This tour is packed with great cattle and great extras for all to enjoy!

The cost of the tour, which includes a two-day bus ride and all meals on the tour, is $50 per person, if pre-registered by August 24th, and $75/person after August 24th.  The headquarters hotel is the Sleep Inn & Suites, Minot, ND.  A block of rooms is available under North Dakota Angus for $79/night and reservations can be made by calling (701) 837-3100.
