A giant alligator has been shot after terrorizing and eating cattle on a Florida farm.
Lee Lightsey, the owner of Outwest Farms in Okeechobee, and hunting guide, Blake Godwin, discovered the gator in their cattle ponds on the 2nd April. Measuring just under 15 feet and weighing in at over 800 pounds, a farm tractor was needed to pull it from the pond.
The farm's owners discovered the gator in a cattle pond during a guided hunt. They believe the gator had been helping itself to some of their cows, attacking them when they came for a drink.
