HSUS Speaks to 4H Members at Conference

While 4H members from around the U.S. convened on the National 4H Conference last week, folks that support the national group became aware of one aspect of that convention that they couldn’t put all their weight behind.  Each year the leadership for the national 4H gets proposals from internal and external groups looking to put on workshops during the conference.  The planning committee then looks at what has been proposed and decides which will be the most fitting for the organization.  This year, one that made the cut was a program put on by the Humane Society of the United States.  As these public conflicts of interest do in our technological world, the 4H Facebook page has become a forum of criticism and defense of the decision.  CLICK HERE to be connected to the conversation.
