Lassle Ranch Simmentals 22nd Annual Production Sale

by

After taking a break in 2014 as we sold bred heifers, we are excited to bring back the tradition of offering pick of our entire 2014 born heifer crop.  In the heifer pen this year are 78 Simmental and SimAngus heifers to choose from with 22 of them a direct result from or embryo transfer program and full sibs to bulls selling this year and last year.  These heifers represent the future of the Lassle Ranch herd and the heifer mates to what we consider our best and most consistent group of bulls we have every brought to town. We are extremely proud of the genetics we have introduced to the breed over the last 22 years and our genetics are in almost every AI stud in North America, however we take much greater satisfaction in the fact that cows carrying the LRS prefix continue to produce bulls that work for the commercial cattleman year after year which has made the LRS prefix one of the most respected in the breed.  The females at the Lassle Ranch must earn their keep and it is simple philosophy.  A Lassle Ranch female must breed back early every year and stay on schedule, have a favorable Disposition, and bring in a heavy calf or they go to town – no questions asked, no excuses made.  We do not have a female production sale and rarely let a female leave the replacement pen. Clay has a saying: “Don’t sell the factory” and it is referenced often as we discuss the cowherd.  These females are the backbone and future stars of our operation.

We have pictured and videoed a small sample for this catalog and the website, but the gates will be open with nothing held back, and the future can be yours on February 12th to have the opportunity to select a LRS female to be part of your program for years to come.  A complete list of females to choose from will be available on our website.

Terms: Selection must be made by April 1, 2015 with half of purchase due sale day and the balance at time of selection
