Latin American and Caribbean Wheat Buyers in Portland

PORTLAND, OR (June 23, 2016) – This week the U.S. Wheat Associates is hosting its Latin American and Caribbean Wheat Buyers Conference in Portland, OR. And with over 200 people in attendance, this year’s event is one of the largest.

The Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz is in Portland and has this story on the conference’s importance to U.S. wheat growers.

Alan Tracy is President of the U.S. Wheat Associates and says export markets are really important to the U.S. wheat Industry. And Montana farmer Chris Kolstad says he’s proud to raise wheat that helps feed the world.
