Leveling the Playing Field with China

by

There is a lot of uncertainty in farm and ranch country when it comes to the ag economy. During the 2018 National Farmers Union Fly-In held in Washington, D.C. farmers and ranchers shared their thoughts, concerns and the impact the trade war has had or may have on their farms and ranches.

At a meeting at the headquarters of the USDA, Greg Doud, Chief Ag Negotiator for the U.S. Trade Representative shared insight on why the trade war with China came about and why the U.S. acted to level the playing field with China and other nations.
