Malt Barley Industry Huge Economic Driver for MT & WY

BILLINGS, MT (January 10, 2017) – The Montana and Wyoming Malt Barley and Sugarbeet Symposium is underway in Billings, MT. It was a packed house for day #1 as growers from across the region gathered to learn more about the continued opportunities of growing malt barley.

Wade Malchow, Sourcing Manager-Barley, Malt & Elevator Operations for MillerCoors was the keynote speaker and afterwards the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz talked with Wade about his message to growers.
