MONTANA FOOD AND AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT CENTER NETWORK SPRING 2016 TRAINING SCHEDULE
Upcoming trainings hosted by the Montana Food and Agriculture Development Center Network (FADC) will help Montana food-based businesses and providers institute best practices, comply with existing safety ordinances, and prepare their business for the new updates mandated by the Food Safety Modernization Act. The trainings will cover a variety of food safety and food business topics and be held in locations around Montana.
Trainings Include:
· Wholesale Success— Great Falls; February 8th
· On Farm Food Safety Training— Bozeman, February 11th-12th; Ronan, February 18th-19th; Great Falls, February 25th-26th
· Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP)—Billings, March 9th
The Montana Food & Agriculture Development Center Network helps Montanans innovate and grow businesses that produce and commercialize food, agricultural and renewable energy products and processes- creating wealth and jobs in our communities and on our farms and ranches. The centers- located in Joliet, Havre, Butte, and Ronan- operate as a statewide network serving community-based businesses throughout Montana.
The trainings are sponsored through a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Specialty Crop Block Grant.
