Montana Farm Bureau holds elections at annual convention

Bob Hanson, a cattle rancher from White Sulphur Springs, has been re-elected as president of the Montana Farm Bureau Federation during Montana Farm Bureau’s 95th Annual Convention at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center. Hans McPherson, a diversified farmer from the Bitterroot Valley, was elected as vice president.


Re-elected to the Board of Directors were Harris Wheat, a cattle rancher from Dillon, District 2; Ronda Johnston, a cattle rancher from Melville, District 4, and  Ed Bandel, a wheat farmer from Great Falls, District 8. Newly elected were Wes Jensen, a cattle rancher from Circle as District 6 Director and Patti Davis, a cattle producer from Belgrade, as District 10 Director.


Gretchen Schubert from Huntley returns as the Women’s Leadership Committee Chair, with Jenny Stovall continuing to represent the Young Farmers and Ranchers Committee.


The Montana Farm Bureau Convention runs Nov. 9-12 at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center.
