The Montana chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society is sponsoring this tour to showcase farms and ranches in the Dakotas that have moved to the next level with the health of their soils. The tour provides a unique opportunity to see what others have done to drastically improve the health of their soils and economics.
Join the bus tour to Dakota Lakes, SD, the Menoken Farm and Gabe Brown’s Farm in North Dakota to see soil health in action. Participants will meet with special guests, David Brandt (OH farmer), Ray Archeletta, Soil Health Specialist, and Dr. Allen Williams, founding partner of Grass Fed Beef, LLC and Grass Fed Insights, LLC at the Brown Ranch. The bus will leave Billings on September 12th at 8:30 a.m. and return to Billings around 7 p.m. on the 14th. There will also be a pick up/ drop off in Miles City.
