New Dino Species Named for MT Ranch Family

According to the Great Falls Tribune, a new species of dinosaur has been named for a ranching family in the Choteau community.  They report that “The oldest duck-billed dinosaur yet discovered in North America, the 79.3 million-year-old Acristavus gagslarsoni was found on land originally owned by Russell “Gags” and Nora Larson and was donated to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman by their children.”
