New Montana Brands Enforcement Division Administrator Hired

Leslie Dryer Doely has been hired by the Montana Department of Livestock as the new Brands Enforcement Divisions Administrator.  January 11, 2016 will be Doely’s first day in the position, replacing John Grainger who left the Department in September of this year.

[EasyDNNGallery|3321|Width|350|Height|350|position|left|resizecrop|False|lightbox|False|title|False|description|False|redirection|False|LinkText||]Doely has worked for the Department of Livestock since 2010 having started as temporary staff in the Brand Rerecords position and then moving to the Animal Health Division where she currently works as a Compliance Specialist. Doely is involved in the DSA/Brucellosis program, brucellosis testing reimbursements, trichomoniasis program, rabies program, eCVI. Doely was honored in 2013 with the Governor’s Award for Excellence.

Leslie Doely grew up in the Kalispell area on a small cow/calf operation. While in school there she was highly active in 4-H, FFA and currently  Montana Farm Bureau.  Doely attended MSU and graduated with a Degree in Animal Science.  Her and husband Josh Doely were married in 2010. Josh currently works for Montana Livestock Ag Credit, and they live on a small acreage out of Helena enjoying the rural life.

When asked about the job and the current budget issues, Doely states, “I am anxious to get started. I haven’t really had time to dive into the budget issue but I plan on learning everything as fast as I can. I can’t fix anything until I understand it.”
