Proud of His Home on the Range

Noted Miles City frontier photographer L.A. Huffman seems to capture the pride and determination of this sheepherder standing with his sheep dogs on the snowy plains of eastern Montana.  The sheepherder is raising his arm perhaps in a salute to the photographer and to the land.
