Pulse Checkoff Listening Session, Sidney MT

Helena, Mont. – The Montana Department of Agriculture's Chief Legal Counsel, Cort Jensen, will be holding listening sessions in Eastern Montana communities from August 24th through August 27th.  Mr. Jensen will provide information and receive comments on North Dakota's recent refusal to sign a cross-border reciprocal agreement to return Montana pulse checkoff dollars to the state. In addition, Mr. Jensen will discuss the department's desire to maximize Montana's pulse checkoff dollars return on investment and other agricultural interests.  All sessions are open to the public and interested producers are encouraged to attend.

Wolf Point:    Monday, August 24 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Sherman Inn, 200 E. Main, Banquet Room.

Froid:          Tuesday, August 25 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Friod Community Center.

Plentywood: Wednesday, August 26 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the Sheridan County Courthouse, 100 W Laurel Ave., Jubilee Room.

Sidney:        Wednesday, August 26 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Richland Public Library, 121 3rd Ave. NW.

Glendive:     Thursday, August 27 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Glendive Public Library, 200 S Kendrick Ave.
