Owen Murnion Family Benefit Auction
On Tuesday March 3rd at 2:30 PM, Miles City Livestock Commission in Miles City, MT will be holding a Rollover and Benefit Auction for the Owen Murnion Family of Jordan, MT. Owen Murnion tragically passed away from the result of a farming accident on February 12 and leaves behind his wife Briana, his seven daughters, his parents and siblings as well as extended family and friends. 100{18648621dc58566f60964eb5074c58f5f97501fe95033d5d25ee4862e704a74a} of the proceeds from this benefit auction will go to Owen’s immediate family to help with their short-term as well as their longer term needs.
This auction will consist of two parts – the rollover auction and donation auction.
In the rollover auction, Miles City Livestock Commission is donating a calf and it will be sold to the highest bidder who will then donate it back to be resold. This will continue as long as there is support from the bidding audience.
The donation portion of the auction is straight forward. All items donated will be sold to the highest bidder and 100{18648621dc58566f60964eb5074c58f5f97501fe95033d5d25ee4862e704a74a} of the money received will go to the family. There are numerous donations from well-wishers and supporters from 4 different states as well as Canada. There are several big tickets items in this benefit – from cattle, sides of beef, tons and tons of feed, mineral and supplements, a semi load of hay, a 4 year old gelding and lots more! There are also many smaller items including jewelry, art and many, many gift certificates.
