BILLINGS, MT (August 30, 2016) – U.S. wheat continues to face stiff competition on the world market from other wheat producing nations like Russia. This competition along with just a glut of wheat on the world market is putting a lot of downward pressure on U.S. wheat prices.
Jeff McPike is Manager of Global Marketing for McDonald Pelz Global Commodities in Boulder, CO and talked with the Northern Ag Network’s Russell Nemetz about Russia’s presence in the world wheat market.
