Welcome
We would like to invite you to look through our 21st annual offering. This year's sale will be on a new day, Sunday, February 15 at 2 p.m. (MT) at Bowman Auction Market. we decided to make the move to a weekend because of all the activities through the work week. Having three kids in sports, our week days get pretty hectic as well.
The sale day change will be highlighted with an extra special set of bulls including 27 from our E.T. program. These bulls will be headlined by Sitz Rain Maker, Great Falls, and Consensus sons. In addition there will also be sons of Rito 954, our exciting herd sire Return and several others.
We would like to take a few minutes and explain our belief in the difference between buying yearlings and two-year-old bulls.
First, two year olds have proven to cover more cows than their yearling counterparts. Our belief if that a yearling will cover one cow for every month of age, while a two-year-old will cover one cow for every centimeter of scrotal circumference.
Secondly, we believe two year olds are old enough and mature enough to physically handle a 60 plus day breeding season. The demand on a yearling to breed through an entire season will have effects that last through the next year. Now we understand that this may not apply in every situation but it's a useful formula to use when buying and sorting bulls for breeding pastures.
We would like to encourage you to come and look at the bulls any time before the sale. We guarantee our bulls and stand behind what we sell. This is our livelihood 24/7 and if our customers aren't happy we're not happy. Please don't hesitate to call us with any questions.
Thanks for your interest,
Chad
