Top of the West Horse Sale Weekend
The Colt Competition was held on Friday, April 11th at the Copper Spring Ranch in Bozeman, MT. Students from the UMW and MSU showcased their skills and the progression of their colts in a head to head competition.
After round one, the top ten students/horses came back to the arena for a final routine show case the colts.
At the end of the day 3 came out on top.

2nd Jessica Thompson UMW
3rd Tess Turk UMW
Montana State University came out on top as the champion of the MSU vs. UMW Colt Competition and was presented with a traveling trophy Sponsored by the Copper Spring Ranch.
On sale day two special awards where handed out. The first was the Top Hand Award. This award was establish to recognize a UMW or MSU student who has excelled in and out of the arena. This years winner of the Top Hand Award was Noah Cornish from Chico, CA. Noah is a student at Montana State University.
