Winter weather presents all sorts of challenges for those in agriculture. From freezing temperatures to feed shortages, ranchers have a lot on their plates. An item on that theoretical plate for one Oklahoma family was a calf unable to gain his footing atop of a frozen pond.
This video, from SkyNews9 in Watonga, Oklahoma, shows none other than the news station’s helicopter pushing the stranded calf to safety. The pilot, Mason Dunn, was called to action after the ranchers recalled a similar rescue of a deer a few years back.
