Sitting Bull Auction owners Kirby Krebsbach and Wes Peterson announced that the Sitting Bull Auction is closing. February 26th was the last regular sale, however, bull sales for the month of March will go on as scheduled.
Two years ago the auction yards incurred significant flood damage. The building sustained severe damage, pens suffered with cement heaving, and the water damage also ruined several waters and wiring. The owners decided it would be too costly to justify repairs or replacement to the to the building.
Sitting Bull Auction would like to thank all present and past cosigners and most of all the employees whose dedication and hard work allowed them to continue sales for as long as they did.
