11th Hour, on the 11th Day, of the 11th Month

As we honor Veteran’s Day, Montana looks back at all those who have served the nation and stood up for freedom. On Oct. 24^th, 1917, the 163^rd Montana Infantry Regiment paraded down Main Street in Helena as they prepared to deploy to Europe where World War One was raging. A year later, the war ended at the 11^th hour of the 11^th day of the 11^th month We now honor all veterans on Nov. 11^th.
