Doyle Johannes of Underwood was unanimously elected North Dakota Farm Bureau President during the organization’s 69th annual meeting at the Grand International in Minot, Nov. 18-19.
Johannes, who served as vice president under outgoing president Eric Aasmundstad, also served as District 6 Director until his election to the presidency. The NDFB President serves at large and is elected for a two-year term. He was elected to the District 6 position in 2004.
Johannes and his wife, Patsy, have a diversified small grain and row crop farm near Underwood. They also operate a custom backgrounding feedlot.
The Johanneses have three children.
