100 Year Anniversary of Fort Keogh Livestock & Range Research Laboratory
This year is the URSDA-ARS Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory’s 100th year as a USDA research facility. On May 30th and 31st the USDA and MSU will join to celebrate their partnership in research. Tours of the facilities, discussion of research, and impacts the fort has had on range and livestock will be included and are open to the public. After noon tours will be held on the 30th, following by a formal ceremony with guest speakers at the Custer County Event Center starting at 5 and meal at 7. Morning tours will be held the morning of the 31st.
