Forestry Management workshop will be hosted by the Hamilton Field Office and the DNRC:
A forestry management workshop with emphasis on introductory forestry principles will be conducted in a cooperative effort between the NRCS Hamilton Field Office and the DNRC. Missoula Area Forester, Chris Town and DNRC Hamilton Unit Forester, Thayer Jacques, will be instructing folks on forestry skills such as tree identification, disease and insects, wildlife management, and many other forestry management principles. The workshop will be held at the Bass Creek Recreation Area on Wednesday, May 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. For more information, please call Stacy Pease at the Hamilton FO at 406-363-5010, ext 110.
