Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Lab Centennial Celebration

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service and Montana State University’s Montana Agricultural Experiment Station are celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory in Miles City.

The celebration will highlight the laboratory’s significant contributions to livestock reproduction, nutrition, genetics and rangeland management research as well as to the industry and scientific community.

WHEN: Thursday, May 30. 

The event will commence with tours, followed by a ceremony featuring keynote speakers.

  • 1-4 p.m. – Media is invited to join the “Livestock Reproduction, Nutrition and Genetics Research” tour. **Please RSVP (below) to participate.**
  • 5-7 p.m. – Centennial Ceremony at Custer County Event Center.
