IBMP Partners Look for Place to Hold Bison

The Interagency Bison Management Plan (IBMP) partners wrapped up a two-day meeting in Bozeman on Wednesday.  Coming out of that meeting, the Montana Farm Bureau Federation’s Chelcie Cremer told us about one of the hot topics.

She says that the partners are looking for land in Montana to hold some of the Park’s bison.

Chelcie added that it doesn’t sound as though bison would be permanently place at the locations.  The locations, instead, would serve as short-term holding facilities.
