Superior Livestock hosted their “Big Horn Classic” this week in Sheridan, WY. Northern Ag Network was their for part of Wednesday’s sale where Jim Odle, original co-founder and now General Manager of Superior, told us the prices were up from their past video sale.
Along with prices being higher, Jim said it was the major feedyards and buyers that were in the action during this week’s sale. This, he says, may reflect concerns that a lot of cattle have already moved and that buyers may have to step out and pay a little more for cattle.
The prices listed below are from all regions for cows, pairs, and bred heifers. The steer and heifer prices come from our region.
