Monday Rodeo Results – Wyoming State Fair Ranch Rodeo

by

Billings, MT– The roughest, rowdiest and best teams jockeyed for the winning position at the Wyoming State Fair Ranch Rodeo Aug. 15 in Douglas, Wyo. to qualify for the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals.
Brims of cowboy hats provided only  mild relief from the sun's glare as twelve teams competed in events showcasing their ranching skills. Scores from bronc riding, wild cow milking, team trailering, team branding and team doctoring were combined to determine the winning team.

The filled grandstands had clearly defined cheering sections for each of the teams. The twelve teams that competed came from all corners of Wyoming; Berger Ranch, Bootheel Seven Livestock, Cowboy Relief, Cross H Ranch, First Northern Bank, Fortification Ranch LLC, Four Three, High Mountain Ranch, Miller Ranch, Rankin Ranch, Rough Country Rug Rats and Turkey Track Livestock.

Bragging rights and an invitation to compete in the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals in Billings, Mont. Oct. 14 went to the Cowboy Relief team in first place and Fortification Ranch LLC in second place.

As qualifiers, these two Wyoming teams will compete in one of the largest venues in this region for ranch rodeos. Instant replay on big screens and indoors make the NILE Ranch Rodeo a big reward. Also, the winner from the NILE Ranch Rodeo becomes eligible to compete at the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, Texas.

The NILE is proud to partner with the Wyoming State Fair Ranch Rodeo because they too work to preserve and embrace the western lifestyle.
