Billings, MT– Cowboys and cowgirls roped and rode to prove who is the best at the Glasgow Old Mil Light Ranch Rodeo Aug. 1 in Glasgow, Mont. to qualify for the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals.
Teams competed in events showcasing their ranching skills. Scores from bronc riding, wild cow milking, team trailering, team branding and team doctoring were combined to determine the winning team.
The teams that competed were: Cornwell Ranch, The Bunch Ranch, Kittleson Ranch, Korman Ranch, Maxwell Butler Ranch, Nelson Ranch, Olsen Grains and Livestock, and Salveson Ranch.

Bragging rights and an invitation to compete in the NILE Ranch Rodeo Finals in Billings, Mont. Oct. 14 went to the Nelson Ranch team who took first place. The Nelson Ranch team is composed of Don Nelson, Shelia Nelson, Ron Potter, Jake Kirkland and Walter Ozark.

The winning team will compete in one of the largest venues in this region for ranch rodeos. Instant replay on big screens and indoors make the NILE Ranch Rodeo a big reward. Also, the winner from the NILE Ranch Rodeo becomes eligible to compete at the Working Ranch Cowboys Association World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, Texas.

The NILE is proud to partner with the Glasgow Old Mil Light Ranch Rodeo because they too work to preserve and embrace the western lifestyle.
