Lubrecht Experimental Forest, Greenough, Montana
Drop the Wii and get in the woods! Summer Camp in Montana for all youth ages 14-18.
A wonderful opportunity to get the kids outside where learning and recreation come together, to foster understanding and instill appreciation for the natural amenities of Montana.
For Campers
Have plans for the summer yet? Want to go rafting on the Alberton Gorge of the Clark Fork river? Ever wondered what aPseudotsuga menziesii is? Curious about how to work and manage the land we live off? And want to meet other kids from all across Montana?
For Parents
The future decisions of how our natural resources will be managed will be made by the youth of today.
For 30 years, the Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp has provided youth an opportunity to study in an outdoor classroom the scientific principles, economic realities, historical heritage, and social perspectives of today, to help these future leaders in their quest to gain a natural resources perspective that is informed and progressive.
For Educators
What better way for students ages 14-18 to learn about our natural resources than by working in the outdoors alongside natural resource specialists? The Montana Natural Resources Youth Camp offers just such an experience through its three-pronged approach to instruction.
