LOLO –The season of giving is approaching and families from around the state will find themselves with one of the most hallowed treasures of the holiday season – the gift of a Christmas tree.
Purcell Ranch owner Joe Purcell has already started spreading the love by donating thousands of Christmas trees to local families, youth groups and businesses. It's his fourth year of donating the trees to those in need and Purcell estimate he has given away hundreds of them.
“Just imagine yourself on Christmas morning with no tree, or imagine Easter with no Easter eggs. Imagine Thanksgiving without a turkey. I just can't even bear to see families without Christmas trees,” Purcell said.
“We have approximately 9,000 Christmas tree on the ranch and we're willing to make sure every family gets a tree.”
The Lolo rancher plans to keep donating trees every weekend until Christmas. The Purcell Ranch is located off of U.S. Highway 12 at 12960 Serevin Trail, west of Lolo.
