LEWISTOWN, MT (July 29, 2016) – Sage Newman of Melstone, MT recently won the 2016 National High School Rodeo Finals Saddle Bronc Riding. Newman came into the short go in second place, but an 83 point ride brought him to the top. He became the fifth cowboy from Montana to ever win this event.
The Northern Ag Networks Lane Nordlund spoke with Newman who graduated from Melstone High School this spring. He will be headed to Montana State University this fall were he will rodeo for the Bobcats!
