MT Beef Council Partners with Wendy’s to Promote Beef




Billings, MT (March 10, 2016) – Deliciously different. A new slogan for Wendy’s that has rolled out and for the third year in a row, Wendy’s and Montana Beef Council have teamed up to promote the best hamburger around.

During this year’s three-week promotion, the campaign incorporates radio, television and digital advertising, billboards, print collateral and a live radio broadcast. Beginning February 29, the first week of the campaign was the build-up for the new Dave’s Classic burger which is being nationally promoted as well. The second week of the promotion features a special one-day event that will include prizes, upgrades and the live radio broadcast. The final week of the campaign will bring everything to a close and remind consumers where they can find a great burger in Montana. 

“This has been a quality partnership that has continued to evolve and expand,” said Chaley Harney, executive director for the Montana Beef Council. “Dollar for dollar we are able to match and leverage Montana beef producer’s checkoff dollars for a promotion that the board of directors and all Montana beef producers can feel good about.”

Last year’s promotion resulted in one-and-a-half more beef products being sold than chicken products and selling a total of 48,835 Dave’s Classics during the three-week partnership. To learn more about Wendy’s or Montana Beef Council, stop by or visit their websites.
