NFU Drastically Changes Biotech Policy

Another annual convention for the National Farmers Union is in the books and with that, we did see a drastic change to the way that the national group views biotechnology.

Erik Somerfeld with the Montana Farmers Union gave us what was adopted as the new policy for the NFU on Tuesday.

Erik told us that this new way of thinking came about when they realized that biotech was here to stay and that they would rather be in the driver’s seat with some control over how everything is handled.
