Congratulations to Shay Family Livestock of Laurel, Montana on being selected as the 2025 NILE Premier Herdsman!
KR Rauch and Wilson Trailers have donated a Wilson Stock Trailer for use for a year. This award recognizes outstanding achievement across all facets of competition – excellence in sportsmanship, cooperation, industry knowledge, cleanliness of stalling space and livestock quality.
This year’s Premier Herdsman Award goes to the Shay Family, who have been exhibiting at the NILE for many years. Before selling club calves, Brent & Karla spent many hours in the barn with their children as they exhibited through the Jr Fed & Breeding Cattle shows.
The Shay Family would be the first to give you the shirt off their back, wave at you while driving down the road or stop in to chat and see how everything is going. This family takes pride in their workmanship, friendliness and customer support. We’d like to congratulate our 2025 Premier Herdsman, from Laurel, MT – Shay Family Livestock Special thanks to K.R.
