Friends and Family of the Red Angus World:
As many of you have learned in recent days, our friend Kenny Forster was in a terrible 4-wheeler accident last Friday. He sustained significant chest injuries with multiple broken ribs and punctures to both lungs. Kenny is currently in a medically induced coma recovering from his injuries and the reports of his improvement are positive! But as we all know, the road to a full recovery is a long bumpy one, and caring friends know best how to ease those bumps.
A number of Kenny's friends and extended family have been burning the phone lines organizing a benefit auction….. and now we are asking our fellow Red Angus Breeders and Industry partners to participate in this most worthy cause.
D. V. Auction has offered to host a ” Country Auction” for us which will run from May 1st- May 3rd. Many of the details of this auction are still being worked out. As the details are finalized we will keep you updated.
Tri-State Livestock News, Cattle Business Weekly, Agri-Media Group, Bill Pelton, and the Red Angus Assn are all volunteering to advertise.
Red Cow Relocators and JKM Designs have offered to put the catalog together, and we're looking to Kenny's friends throughout the cattle industry to make this benefit auction just like every bull and female sale this spring : A BELLRINGER!

A number of great ideas have been offered up in conversations that aren't really items for an online auction, but they are great live auction items…..and a local benefit auction is being organized as well, and we'd be happy to pass along great fundraising ideas.
